![]() ![]() Lanham’s practice involves working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors presenting with a wide array of neurocognitive, emotional, and relationship challenges. Lanham has presented on a variety of neuropsychological topics across the United States and Canada, particularly regarding assessment and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). ![]() He is a fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association (MPA), a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), including Division 12 (Clinical Psychology) and Division 40 (Clinical Neuropsychology), and the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN).ĭr. Lanham also held an appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota. He served as the clinical and research neuropsychologist for the Minneapolis site of the Defense and Veterans Head Injury Program (DVHIP), a joint DoD-DVA national clinical treatment and research program conducted with partial support from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Lanham worked for seven years as the clinical neuropsychologist for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine’s Inpatient and Outpatient Brain Injury Programs at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center where he had clinical, supervisory, teaching, program development, and research duties. Lanham went on to complete a clinical internship and his first year of post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and geropsychology at the Miami VA Medical Center and University of Miami School of Medicine. Desiring to gain experience with the entire age continuum, Dr. During his graduate years, he worked at Psychology and Education Associates, conducting neuropsychological and educational assessments and treatment, primarily with children and adolescents. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Lanham is also an Assistant Professor on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Division of Medical Psychology. He has been in private practice in Montgomery County, Maryland since returning to the area over 12 years ago. , is a licensed psychologist specializing in clinical neuropsychological assessment and treatment. ![]()
